Trust me, I get it! It can be a hard task trying to find something your little one will actually try, let alone eat LOL!!
Over the years, after several attempts of trial and error with my boys, I came to realize that I couldn’t go wrong with ham and cheese! These were 2 foods they would eat with just about anything.
I came up with these Ham & Cheese Crescent Roll Ups to incorporate their favorite foods into one, and they were a HIT! These Ham & Cheese Crescent Roll Ups are super easy to make, and the kids can help too!
How to Make Ham & Cheese Crescent Roll Ups
What You’ll Need:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls (8 Count)
- 16 thin slices cooked deli ham
- 4 slices of sharp cheddar cheese, cut in half
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2 teaspoons dried minced onion
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt/pepper to taste
To get started, heat your oven to 350°F. Unravel the crescent rolls and separate the dough into 8 triangles. Lay them onto a flat surface.
Place 2 pieces of ham and 1 piece of cheese onto each triangle. Roll up each crescent, ending at tip of triangle. Place onto an ungreased cookie sheet and set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced onion, and Dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste brush evenly on each crescent roll.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm and Enjoy!
I’m sure your kiddos will LOVE this recipe! Try it this week for lunch and let me know how they turned out in the comments!
