February is here, so you know what that means! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. While one of the first Valentine’s Day treats that come to mind is chocolate, I decided to put together something a little different, and healthier this year, so I made these heart-shaped fruit skewers with yogurt dip!
These adorable Heart-Shaped Fruit Skewers with Yogurt Dip are the perfect way to show your family a little extra love on Valentine’s Day! And the kids can help!
What You’ll Need to Make These Skewers
All you need are some wooden skewers, a heart-shaped cookie cutter, and a few cups of strawberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, and blueberries.
These are the heart-shaped cookie cutters that I used:
To get started, grab your strawberries, pineapples, and cantaloupe, and cut them with a heart-shaped cookie cutter. Thread the fruit onto the skewers, using the blueberries as the end pieces to prevent the fruit from falling off. Place the fruit onto a large serving platter and make your pink yogurt dip.
To make the pink yogurt dip, combine a half cup of vanilla Greek yogurt and a few drops of pink food coloring. Transfer to a small, fun serving dish and top with a few sprinkles.
And voila! You have a delicious, nutritious Valentine’s Day treat!
