Jalapeno Cheddar Hot Dog Mummies

Servings: 6

Ingredients
  

  • 6 Jalapeno Cheddar NAE Pork Brats
  • 2 packages crescent roll dough
  • For eyes: sliced black olives & cream cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Open your crescent roll package and unroll the dough. Press the perforations to seal them together.
  3. Cut the dough into ¼ inch strips and wrap the pieces of dough around each brat, letting it overlap and criss-cross. Leave a space at one end for the mummy’s face.
  4. Place each wrapped hot dog on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and brats are completely cooked through.
  5. To make the eyes, fill the center of each sliced black olive with a small amount of cream cheese and place 2 of the cream-cheese filled olives on the open space of each mummy.
