Each year, I usually make my boys a goodie bag, filled with their favorite treats, but this year I decided to do something a little different! Since they absolutely LOVE our family movie nights, I thought that it would be a great idea to make them a Movie Themed Valentine’s Day Basket!
To make sure that I had everything that I needed, I headed over to Sprouts Farmers Market to pick up a few items. I love shopping at Sprouts because they always have the best selection of holiday goodies, which makes it easy to put together a thoughtful gift for all the people you love!
How to Make a Movie Themed Valentine’s Day Basket
Supplies
- Basket
- Red crumbled paper or tissue paper
- Clear plastic bags
- Red ribbon
- Sprouts Cherry Twists Candy
- Sprouts Gummy Bears
- Sprouts Strawberry Covered Pretzels
- Sprouts Organic Popcorn, Lightly Buttered
- Zevia Kidz Orange Cream Soda
- Annie’s Cheddar Bunnies
- Valentine’s Day Cards
I started by gathering a few sweet treats that I knew my kids would love. We’re huge fans of the cherry twists and the gummy bears, so I picked up a few packs of those. I also got these yummy strawberry covered pretzels.
No movie night is complete without something to munch on and something to drink, so I picked up a couple of bags of the Sprouts Organic Popcorn, Annie’s Cheddar Bunnies, and a pack of the Zevia Kidz Orange Cream Soda.
Before putting together the basket, I decided to divide the candy into clear bags and tie them with a red and white ribbon. Then I filled the bottom of the basket with some red crumbled paper to make it look super festive.
Next, I arranged the items into to the basket and placed a couple of cute Valentine’s Day cards in the basket. For the cutest finishing touch, I added two DIY Printable Valentine’s Day Movie Tickets. The kids will use these tickets to gain access into the movie theater—also known as the Living Room lol! 😊
These tickets are such a sweet touch and really add another element of fun! Click HERE to print your very own set of Valentine’s Day Movie Tickets!!
