Unlike, the typical banana split, these Healthy Breakfast Banana Splits are made with a hefty serving of Greek yogurt instead of ice cream. I like adding Greek yogurt to my recipes because it contains some awesome nutritional benefits.
Greek yogurt is high in protein, which helps to fuel our kids with enough energy to tackle those busy school days. A typical 6-ounce serving contains 15 to 20 grams, which is equivalent to the amount of protein in 2 to 3 ounces of lean meat.

Another benefit of Greek yogurt is that it’s high in calcium. Calcium is important, especially for children, because it helps to build strong muscles and supports growth. It’s also responsible for the proper functioning of our vital organs.
To make this Healthy Breakfast Banana Split even more delicious, I topped it with berries, granola, and a drizzle of peanut butter! Yum!! You can certainly get creative with this recipe and top it with any combo of toppings that you would like! This recipe also great for snack time!
