Summer is quickly approaching, so why not fire up the grill and make these delicious Fruity Campfire Cones! This dessert is grilled to perfection and filled with fresh fruit, chocolate, and marshmallows!
Thank you, Sprouts Farmers Market, for sponsoring this post! As always, all thoughts and opinions are truly my own.
The weather’s getting nice, and the kids are getting antsy! They want to go outside and play! My boys LOVE the outdoors – whether it’s chasing our precious little Maltipoo, Khloe around, finding interesting bugs to dissect (yuck!), or just good old-fashioned bike-riding – being a kid, you just can’t beat a good day of outside play! Besides, it wears them out and gets them nice and ready for a nap LOL!
I wanted to make my boys a fun, yummy treat that they could enjoy and eat outdoors. So, I fired up the grill, and made these AMAZING Fruity Campfire Cones!! OMG, y’all these were so delicious, and we all wanted more!
What made these campfire cones taste so good? I’m glad you asked! The ingredients, of course! First, I had to make a trip to my favorite place to shop, Sprouts Farmers Market! I just love Sprouts! They have the freshest produce, and I’m always so impressed by the convenience of finding exactly what I need. It truly is the best place to shop for your family!
For this recipe, I grabbed some of my favorite fruits – blueberries, bright red strawberries, and kiwi. Have your kids ever tried kiwi? Now may be a good time! Kiwi has so many great health benefits. Did you know that kiwi is high in Vitamin C and fiber? They support heart health, digestive health, and immunity – and rich in vitamins and antioxidants, making it an excellent ruit choice for your little ones!
Putting these Fruity Campfire Cones together was super easy! Just get your waffle cones, and place the fruit inside. Here comes my favorite part.. add in the chocolate chips and marshmallows. Yumm! Now, you’re ready to grill!
Doesn’t this sound amazing?! I can’t wait for you to try this tasty recipe! Leave me a comment below and let me know how yours turned out. Enjoy!
Fruity Campfire Cones
Ingredients
- 4 waffle cones
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- ½ cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup strawberries sliced
- ½ cup blueberries
- 2 kiwis peeled & sliced
Instructions
- Place a few mini marshmallows in the bottom portion of the cone, followed by a few chocolate chips, and fruit. Because the marshmallows will melt down, be sure to stuff the cone with plenty of ingredients to make sure that it remains full.
- Wrap the cones with foil and place on the grill or over the campfire for 3-5 minutes.
- Carefully unwrap & enjoy!
