Easter is around the corner, so why not surprise the kids with the super cute DIY Easter Baking Basket. It’s filled with everything you need for a day of fun and deliciousness!
Thank you, Sprouts Farmers Market, for sponsoring this post! As always, all thoughts and opinions are truly my own.
When I was a kid, I always looked forward to Easter! My mom would make a HUGE deal out of this holiday! We would get new clothes, have a big family dinner, and receive a basket filled with candy and toys! And we would also dye eggs and have an Easter Egg Hunt after church! Those were good times, for sure!
Now that I’m older, with kids of my own, I try my best to share these traditions with my boys. Leading up to the Easter holiday, we like to put up our Easter decorations and make lots of yummy Spring desserts! We make everything from bunny rabbit pancakes to mini Easter egg cakes!
My kids love to help me cook, so I thought that it would be a fun idea to make them a DIY Easter Baking Basket! Don’t worry—the Easter Bunny is still going to make an appearance and drop off a special surprise, but I just wanted to put together something fun for them this year!
Easter baskets don’t have to be all about candy—they can be filled with fun activities and healthy treats that are available at Sprouts Farmers Market! I love shopping at Sprouts because they have everything that I need for a fun, themed Easter gift basket! And I can pick up these items during my weekly grocery shopping trip!
Putting together this DIY Easter Baking Basket was extremely easy! All you need are just a few simple items!

I started by gathering a few items that my kids could use to help make an easy cake or a batch of cupcakes. I picked up all of the essentials: cake mix, frosting, cupcake liners, and utensils. I also picked up some additional treats for decorating—and for snacking!
Once I had everything that I needed, I arranged the items into to the basket and placed a couple of cute Easter Cards in the basket. For an extra special touch, I placed a few jelly beans in the plastic eggs for a fun surprise!
