HOW TO MAKE ONE POT PASTA
This recipe is a breeze to make! Start by adding the oil to a large pot or Dutch oven, and sauté garlic for about 1 minute. Add in the marinara sauce and water, and bring to a boil. Add in pepperoni, basil, tomatoes, and pasta, and cook for about 15 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed and the pasta is tender. Be sure to stir frequently to prevent pasta from sticking to the bottom.
Stir in half of the mozzarella cheese and season with garlic powder, and salt & pepper to taste. Top pasta with the remaining mozzarella cheese and pepperoni, and place in the oven and broil for about 6-8 minutes or until the cheese begins to brown. Remove from the oven and serve. See, easy, peasy!!
A FEW TIPS FOR COOKING PIZZA PASTA
Making one pot pasta meals isn’t difficult, but here are a couple of tips that will help make things a lot easier!
- Make sure that you use plenty of liquid. Don’t skimp on the water. You need that liquid to cook the pasta properly.
- Be sure to stir this dish frequently. This isn’t a recipe you can set to simmer and walk away for a while. You need to give the pasta a good stir several times throughout the cooking process, to prevent the pasta from sticking to bottom of the pot.
This Easy Cheesy One Pot Pepperoni Pizza Pasta recipe is definitely one that your family will love! It’s full of pizza flavors, and tons of ooey gooey cheese…what’s not love?!
