A few days ago, I started feeling guilty for not planning a better summer vacation for the kids. Usually, we go to the beach a couple of times and I usually enroll the kids in several summer camps, but this summer they wanted to just "chill" at home. I was skeptical but I enjoyed our lazy summer wich included sleeping in, playing video games, random movie dates, and milkshakes...but didn't think my boys enjoyed it until this morning...

Before I dropped my boys off at school, they told me that this was the best summer EVER!! 😳 I was so happy that I cried happy tears 🥹. They are growing up so fast, and I constantly worry if I'm doing enough, or if I'm creating enough memories, but this summer taught me that life is more than filling your calendar with tons of vacations and activities. Sometimes it's just nice to sit at home and enjoy spending time with each other...being present and not worried if every moment is captured and posted to social media 🙂. Just in case you haven't heard this already...You are doing enough, so give yourself a little grace! 😊❤️
