Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients
  

  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 4 slices 4 slices bread
  • 4 tablespoons Prego®+ Plant Protein sauce
  • 2 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 12 slice pepperoni
  • ¼ teaspoon basil
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano

Instructions
 

  • Preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  • Spread 1 teaspoon of butter over each slice of bread and place 2 slices, butter-side down, in the pan. Top each slice with 1 tablespoon Prego®+ Plant Protein sauce and layer with cheese, 6 slices pepperoni, basil, and oregano. Spread an additional tablespoon of Prego®+ Plant Protein sauce on the unbuttered side of the remaining slices of bread, and top each sandwich, butter-side out.
  • Cook 3-4 minutes per side or just until golden.
